Ever year on November 11th we take time to honor the men and women who have served and sacrificed to protect our freedoms: the freedom to peacefully assemble, the freedom of speech to speak out against the government, the freedom to petition the government to remedy grievances, the expectation that we all have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
More than half of the country believes that these freedoms are under attack right now. If we don’t support those who are exercising their right today, then all of those veterans we honor have served their country in vain.
I will not let that happen. I will not be silenced. I love my country and I will continue to fight for it until the day I die.
